Overview
Presence Services group is working on novel mobile technologies concentrating on rich presence awareness and its applications. The group's vision is to build next generation mobile infrastructures which are real world aware and become friendly "Big Brothers" by assisting users based on context while not revealing their private information to others. Many technical challenges in that emerging field include scalability of next generation presence systems, inference of context from low level events, privacy management, social aspects of presence awareness and more.
